12.1 The pursuit of operational excellence is personal

Excellence is personal.  Thus, it means different things to different people.  Whatever it means to you,  you are more likely to reach your goals with a systems view, rigor, and a process approach.  It works just as well for “soft processes” and “hard processes”.  Since the hard stuff is the soft stuff, this is good news.  Because of the nature of the topics, parts of this session is “up close and personal”.
